Product images
Only the image name is populated in the feed, so the url for the image needs to be constructed to reference the source image at https://www.madisonb2b.co.uk/netalogue/zoom/<imagename>.jpg
Categories
There is a translation file Category_Mapping_MAD.csv in the /fawkes/translates/ folder of the fawkes.pen-9.co.uk website which is used to map the Madison Category, Sub Category and Sub Sub Category fields to the VS Categories. This must be pre-populated with all relevant Madison Category, Sub Category and Sub Sub Category combinations before loading products.
Truncated Product Titles
The product title is constructed from the Madison feed field Description (80 Chars) which can sometimes be truncated. This results in unpredictable processing of the product. The best way to address this is to:
- run the feed through the product loader
- filter the resulting import file to those products which have exactly 80 characters in the Description field using the Notes column
- edit the source feed file for the truncated products to replace the missing text
- re-run the product loader with the edited feed file
